Animated Product Tour for Sitebulb
A marketing video that showcases Sitebulbs features

The team began by reviewing a range of product explainer videos to identify tone, pacing, and visual styles that matched the brief.

An initial script was drafted to define the structure and key talking points. This was then translated into a wireframe storyboard in Figma.

Through a series of jam sessions, the team refined the concept for each slide. Once finalized, slides were redrawn as high-fidelity vectors.

Everything was then animated in After Effects, this then went through multiple revisions and a focus on optimising for flow and timing.
The Problem
The project was scoped in close collaboration with the marketing team, who outlined the following priorities:
- Visually explain the core functionality and benefits of Sitebulb
- Work seamlessly without audio
- Function as an on-loop animation for kiosks and conference booths
- Adapt well for social media and the website homepage
The ideal animation would serve as a 2-minute visual pitch, providing immediate clarity and sparking curiosity — especially among in-house and agency SEOs encountering the tool for the first time.
Objectives & Goals
Sitebulb needed a compelling way to introduce and promote its product to new audiences across multiple channels — particularly in trade show environments where audio is unavailable and attention spans are short. The solution had to:
- Primary Objective: Drive curiosity and excitement about Sitebulb while providing a high-level overview of what it does

Outcome & Next Steps
The final animation successfully met the criteria for use in multiple marketing environments:
- Seamless playback at events on kiosks and touchscreen displays
- Clean integration into the Sitebulb homepage
- Adaptability for use on social media as standalone promotional content
Future iterations to explore:
- Subtitling or on-screen text emphasis for even faster comprehension
- Interactive video formats (clickable sections for feature deep dives)
- Additional variants tailored to specific features or use cases
